Generated files save on disk next to the original, with a name like IMG_1234_Twilight_Hero_4K.jpg. They're also imported into the catalog automatically.
This is most common when processing from a Collection, Smart Collection, or filtered preview — you're not looking at the physical folder.
How to find them:Originals are never modified, overwritten or moved — the generated files are on disk, just ask Lightroom to show them.
Select the .lrplugin folder itself, not a file inside it. Check that you use Lightroom Classic: the cloud Lightroom doesn't run plugins.
Quit and reopen Photoshop. Check that you have Photoshop 2024 (version 25) or newer, and that the Creative Cloud app lists AI LightLab among your installed plugins.
Only the Creative Cloud desktop app can install a .ccx. Open it and sign in with the Adobe ID you use in Photoshop. If Photoshop opens the file itself and says it can't import the clipboard, right-click the .ccx → Open With → Creative Cloud and confirm the install.
A dialog is open or an edit isn't confirmed yet, such as a transform or a text layer. Close the dialog or press Enter: the result is waiting and arrives by itself.
Check for extra spaces when you paste. If it still fails, email [email protected] with your order number.
2K usually takes 10 to 60 seconds, 4K up to 3 minutes. Past 5 minutes, cancel and retry: the AI servers may be busy. A photo that fails because the servers are busy costs nothing. If your connection drops during a generation, check your balance before you retry, because that photo may already be charged.
Every generation comes out a little different. Run the same preset again, or describe what you want in the Custom Prompt field.
Yes, with the same files on both. Each license runs on 2 computers in Lightroom and 2 in Photoshop.
No. Lightroom can't attach Content Credentials to AI-generated photos, so turn them off when you export AI-processed files.
Lightroom and Photoshop now give you twilight, golden hour and retouch without leaving your workflow.
